Both the Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are facing off in an afternoon game at Lucknow after incidentally playing their previous game with the Rajasthan Royals.
 
The defending champions are currently in fourth place in the points table after winning three games from the five games they have played, The Titans could have easily been five out of five had they not seen the two heists from Rinku Singh and Shimron Hetmyer while they were defending on their home ground.
 
Lucknow comes into this fixture against the backdrop of pulling a heist against the same Royals, where Lucknow defended a mediocre 154 at Jaipur.

Hardik has started to bowl again; he did a commendable job in the last game against the Royals, where he was literally unplayable in his first two overs. Hardik has yet to live up to his reputation with the bat so far in the tournament. Given this scenario, Hardik could come good with both ball and bat today.

Rashid Khan


An early look at the pitch shows that it is dry and can be very handy for slow bowlers. Rashid has good numbers against KL Rahul and can be expected to bowl an over in the power play to control KL Rahul and Mayers mayhem.

With the pitch dry and it is an afternoon game, Rashid Khan Spin will surely come into play (hopefully he gets some batting too, he is a better batter than the teams have used him in various leagues).

Shubham Gill


Gill, who was on a purple patch for India, scoring international centuries across all formats, has started the IPL for the Gujrat Titans, scoring 228 runs at an average of 45.60. His strike rate has been a little worrying for the Titans given that he is playing the anchor role. However, that shouldn't concern you as he will give you points for sure in your fantasy team.


Marcus Stoinis


Stoinis, who was picked at 11 crore at drafts for LSG, had a pretty ordinary IPL until the last game against the Royals, where he had a man-of-the-match performance, scoring crucial runs as a finisher and picking a couple of wickets with the ball.

With Stoinis returning to the bowl and this surface, which could grip a little as it is a dry wicket, Stoinis becomes a handy and safe pick in your fantasy team.

Naveen-ul-Haq


The Afghanistan pacer had a decent debut against the Royals, where he almost got Jaiswal for a duck in the first over and ended up conceding just 19 runs from four overs. If LSG's think tank decides to stick to Naveen on this dry surface, his slower ones toward the back end of the innings can fetch a few wickets.


Ravi Bishnoi


Bishnoi started the IPL well, but he has had ordinary performances after that. Today's surface could give him more purchase, and he is expected to do well.
